Red face The Lot Lizards (Patterson Hood pre-DBT) 1995-12-21(FLAC) High Hat - Athens Ga

Patterson has The Possibilities back him up on this, the first Lot Lizards show. Lots of future DBT songs. Sound is good for a boombox recording, but still, this is more of a historical curiosity than a high-end audio experience

I never had any luck recording out of the board at the High Hat. The signal coming out was super hot and would clip the input on my D8. Had I known my head from my ass back in the day, I would have had them back them back down the levels all the way before doing anything. On the other hand, analogs out of the house cassette deck were fine

Now I just get accused of ruining tapes, but most are happy, even though I don't run the HPF

Thanks for the show Sloan- I was at the Brute show and this lot lizards show, and the brute show was MUCH better.

Patterson ran the sound for the brute show in '97. I myself did stoli on the rocks that night, and literally howled at the moon...

This recording is not only from a boombox, but from Patterson's MAGIC BOOMBOX. He recorded his shows and songs with that boombox for many years.
