thanks for getting this up so fast David. Now I can get a copy of his missing info. It won't be 24 bit, but at least he will have a copy of his source.
I had a blast hanging out with you and Jen Saturday.

Hey David! Thanks for posting this. It was really cool to meet you and Jen and Lee and everybody on Saturday.
Lee mentioned 24 bit. Was he talking about this torrent?
(I almost forgot about that false Casa start. I was happier to hear that Radio Child anyways.) Thanks again!

Good meeting you as well Brent. The CF card that Lee put in Pat's PMD671 was full and we couldn't figure out how to format the damn thing so his first set was a dud. Also Lee's JB3 conked out and one other rig I think had problems with the first set.
Saturday was a good day. I wish taping was always that fun!

Thanks for getting this up. I want to hear this again because I thought it was a WEAK show to be honest and I want to see what I think of the tapes now that I am not drowning in a cloud of scum and dust. First set was OK, maybe, but really the band seemed off all night. The 2nd set was significantly lower energy than the first. Maybe it was the heat and dust but they just did not have it going on at all. Even RR's guest spot failed to generate the heat. They boys were just complacent and did not seem to be working very hard. All time Low was just that a pallid and shameful run though of what should be a hot song. Easily the weakest show I have seen out of the 19 I have seen.

Thanks for sharing this! I had to bail out of ACL because of hurricane/family issues, but at least I'll hear what I missed! And if it *is* a weak show, I won't feel so bad for missing it!

MP3 - It is interesting to see your review - Yes, it was VERY hot & dusty - but I thought the show was good - not great - but good.
I also had a completely different take on the energy of the boys on stage - I saw many, many smiles and thought the SBD > Fishwater was great. Robert Randolph is a bad man.
I'm looking forward to hearing this to see if I'm mistaken.

MP3 - I will have to disagree with your review, as well. I thought it was a fairly solid show, especially for a fest show. First set was a little stronger than I thought...Bowlegged with a nice rap was a surprise...extended Pigeons too.
The Sliipin' > 2nd Skin transition was dark. The stuff with RR was fun. You are right....the encore was blah, but what are you going to do.
Peace
Marshall

The bowlegged was nice but the rap was short JB even waved to schools to wind it up and get it done.
JB was piss drunk

Still think this was a poor show with little to offer. It is like the band had two modes, a rushed, lets hurry up and get through this thing vibe, and a lethargic, plodding along vibe. I have hit almost all the TX shows since '98 and traveled to NO for Halloween '98. This is the only festival set of theirs I have seen, so maybe I just did not know to expect a pedestrian performance, but it seriously did not hold a candle to the last gig I saw in Dallas last April or any of the shows that I have downloaded from spring and summer tours this year.

Austin City Limits show
mp3......
yup, not as good a show as at nokia live or the one i am listening to from boone nc right now, but weak?
if that was weak i don't think i could stand a strong show!
at ACL it was hot and dusty, choking dust! the day was 102 and humid, then the sun went down, the breeze died and it got really stiffling! i want to meet anyone who could be 'up' under those conditions!
i am new to this band, but i love what i hear. panic is a really remarkable band. i do not want to sell michael houser short - his talent must have been awesome, but this edition of panic is very easily one of the best touring bands around. and take that remark with some weight as i have seen some of the best, ever. i am an old hippie, reformed.
thanks for the work of the taping community and digital panic, i am getting some remarkable music this way!
